The Military Conflict Institute is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3), professional corporation, registered in Virginia. It is not affiliated with any government activity or agency. The material presented here and in other open forums are the express views of its members and should not in any way be construed as official statements of government policy.

TMCI offers the opportunity for professional "students of warfare" to participate in the development of our theories, either as part of different working groups or through individual efforts to prepare research papers. Our members enjoy professional association with experts in many areas of military conflict. TMCI is an informal and open forum in which members expound on theories and personal insights and engage in animated debate and discussion among peers.

Cornwallis Group The Cornwallis Group is an international group of analysts interested in the domain of peace operations. The group meets annually the week before Easter, normally at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre in Nova Scotia, Canada.
